Maintenance actions can be taken immediately. The documentation works via barcodes, ready-made forms make direct data registration via the PDA possible. Thus input errors and repeated data registration is broadly eliminated. The SMaintain basic edition already includes the basic PDA function. It requires a standard Windows CE with Internet Explorer installed on the PDA, connection to an application server and optionally a barcode or RFID scanner.
