Materials / Purchases – stock managementThe usage of this module is optional. In many cases our customers have existing material and purchasing applications implemented. In this case a ready-made, standard interface can categorise the data exchange between the involved applications. But also in some cases not all the spare parts are part of the already implemented material system and stock control. In this case SMaintain Spare Part administration can hold the information regarding available maintenance material until the part is actually used with a maintenance job. This allows much more detailed analysis of where, when and why spare parts are used and why the costs are produced. All functionality of a full material and stock control application are offered. Multiple stock locations, as well as minimum stock level controls are offered. A complete process, from the "purchase requisition" with an optional "sanctioning" process, followed by the generation of an order by the buying department with optional "request for offer" functionality up to the receiving goods and final storage, is offered by SMaintain. As already mentioned there are, in many cases existing applications for some of these processes implemented. In this case the easily configured standard interfaces connect to these third party applications as they are, for example ERP Systems like "SAP" or others. |
